Basic and Advanced Operations Performing Basic Operations

Configuring a Virtual Tape Cartridge

To configure a virtual tape cartridge:

1. Click the Configure icon ( ). The Configuration page appears (see Figure 31 on

page 64). This page contains two sections, Configure and Advanced Operations. The

following steps describe how to access the Configure options. For information about setting

Advanced Operations, see

“Performing Advanced Operations” on page 70.

2. Complete the Configure values described in the Configuration page (see Table 10 on

page 65).

3. Click Update.

NOTE: The Configure button is displayed when there is a virtual cartridge present to

configure.
