3 Do one of the following:
• Select the virtual media you want to recycle by checking the box next to the media’s barcode.
- OR -
• Narrow the media list:
a. In the Apply Filter field, enter barcodes, barcode ranges, wildcards(*) or any combination of
these separated by commas.
EXAMPLE:
00AB01, 00AB20-00AB50, AB*, *AB
b. Click Apply Filter.
4 Click Apply.
A dialog box appears and prompts if you want to recycle the media.
5 Click OK to recycle the media.
The Progress Window appears, which contains information on the status of the media being recycled.
• If Success appears in the Progress Window: The virtual media was successfully recycled.
• If Failure appears in the Progress Window: The virtual media was NOT recycled. To view the
troubleshooting procedures, click View Recommended Actions. To view the error details, click
Error Log for information on why the virtual media was not recycled. To recycle additional virtual
media, repeat Step 2
on page 65 through Step 5.
6 Click Close to close the Progress Window.

Note
Once the Progress Window appears, you cannot cancel or stop this action.
However, you can close the window by clicking the X in the upper-right of the
screen, but confirmation of success or failure is NOT shown.
