Upgrading Firmware
You can update firmware for the RMU, library, and drives. Before you update firmware, you need to have
the firmware file in a location that is accessible from the RMU interface. Library and RMU firmware updates
are available from www.adic.com/csc
. Drive firmware is available from the drive manufacturer’s website.
Upgrading drive or RMU firmware
1 Click the Firmware tab.
2 Select the firmware you would like to update.
3 Click Browse and browse to the location of the firmware update file.
4 Click Update Firmware.
The firmware is updated and the RMU reboots.
Note
Some drives, such as SDLT-320, do not support remote firmware update. If
drive firmware can be updated by using the RMU, the drive name appears
in the list of targets.
