Problem box

The problem box has 2 x 10 compart-

ments. It is turned manually.

It houses media which cannot be

identified by the robot as well as

used cleaning cassettes.

Handling box

Each handling box has space for

• 30 cassette tapes (type 3480) or

• 24 optical disks or

• 8 VHS cassettes

All handling boxes can be extracted.

The robot takes the media from the

handling boxes and files them in the

archive or mounts them on drives.

Turning units

The two turning units work indepen-

dently of one another. Select them via

the operating panel of the I/O unit.

Each turning unit ist divided in four

sections. These house the handling

boxes.

The turning units move the handling

boxes from the operator side to the side

accessed by the robot system.
