80 Scalar 218 Rack-Mount Installation

p Using the key, unlock the front panel.

p Turn the lock ¼ turn counterclockwise while pushing the plate/rail subassembly rearward

until it clears the slides.

Note

If the front panel lock is unlocked, it is not necessary that you have the

key to unlatch it and slide it forward. Simply turn the lock with your

hand ¼ turn counterclockwise while pulling the bottom of the front

panel towards you.

p Slide the Scalar 218 all the way forward until the slide stops engage.
